I was born in Belarus but spent most of my childhood in Germany. At sixteen, I picked out a cheap point-and-shoot camera and took blurry, overexposed pictures of the only city that had ever felt like home, never imagining the passion photography would turn into years later. Since then, I have rarely been without a camera around my neck.
I graduated with a BA from The Evergreen State College, focusing my studies in art history and photography. Shortly after that, I moved to Seattle and began working as a freelancer.
I like photographing people the most. I like understanding my subjects and learning all of the intricacies about how they interact with the camera. I approach many of my sessions with the simple idea of going for a walk and seeing where it takes us.
I’m always open to commissions and taking on new clients. Please feel free to contact me about rates and information.
